Care Assistant – Full‑Time Days

About the role

Join Prime Life at Peaker Park Care Village in Market Harborough and provide compassionate, day‑time support to 137 residents living with age‑related health conditions, physical disabilities, mental health needs and dementia. You will help residents maintain independence and dignity while enjoying a friendly, multidisciplinary team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing and grooming.
• Support mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobility using aids and specialist equipment.
• Provide companionship, accompany residents on outings and appointments.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with the wider care team to promote health and well‑being.
• Welcome family members and respond to enquiries.

Required profile

• Genuine caring nature with a desire to make a difference.
• Patience, understanding and respect for each resident’s abilities.
• Ability to work reliably on a set shift pattern across a 7‑day week.
