Care Assistant – Full‑time Support Role

About the role
Join Agincare as a Care Assistant in Frome, providing compassionate support to residents in a vibrant care home environment. This full‑time position offers the chance to make a real difference to the daily lives of individuals needing personal care and companionship.
Key responsibilities
- Provide companionship, communication and engagement with residents.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and oral hygiene.
- Prompt, assist or administer medication and topical creams as required.
- Support residents with meals, snacks and hydration.
- Carry out light domestic duties, including cleaning and tidying.
- Help residents with mobility to promote independence.
- Organise and accompany residents on social outings and in‑home activities.
Required profile
- Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to work alternate weekends.
- Availability for shift patterns: 08:00‑14:00, 14:00‑20:00 or 20:00‑08:00.
- One full‑time role of 36 hours/week or 42 hours/week.
