Care Assistant – Full‑time, Swanage

About the role
We are looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to join our Swanage care home. The role involves providing person‑centred support to residents, helping them maintain dignity and independence. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
- Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records.
- Support daily living activities including eating, mobility and hygiene.
- Build meaningful relationships and offer companionship to residents.
- Facilitate activities, hobbies and social engagement.
- Promote residents' well‑being, dignity and independence.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.
Required profile
- Kindness and a genuine desire to help others.
- Compassionate, patient and good with people.
- Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered).
- Ability to work alternating weekends.
- Willingness to undertake fully funded training.
Required skills
What we offer
- Fully funded training and qualifications up to QCF Level 5.
- Competitive rate of £12.76 per hour.
- 42‑hour week with alternating weekends; day and night shifts available.
