Care Assistant – Home Care Support

About the role

The Care Assistant delivers home‑care services to customers across West Yorkshire, helping them maintain independence and wellbeing in their own homes. The role combines personal care, household support and companionship while meeting CQC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers daily and follow their personal care plans.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, meals and medication administration.
• Assist with continence care and support post‑hospital recovery.
• Carry out household tasks including cooking, laundry, cleaning and ironing.
• Support customers to attend medical appointments and collect prescriptions.
• Encourage independence through exercise and daily activities.
• Liaise with family members when required.
• Comply with safeguarding policies and attend mandatory training.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Good written and oral English.
• Ability to use the company mobile app and complete electronic daily logs.
• Knowledge of the local area.
• High standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Strong time‑management and adaptability to meet varied customer needs.
• Role‑model attitude delivering excellent service.
