Care Assistant – Home Care Support

About the role

Audley Care provides high‑quality, compassionate home‑care services that help people maintain independence in their own homes. As a Care Assistant you will deliver a range of health, wellbeing and household support to our customers, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Visit community customers daily and follow their personal care plans.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, meals and medication administration.
• Assist with continence care and support clients during medical appointments and post‑hospital recovery.
• Carry out household tasks including cooking, laundry, cleaning and ironing.
• Encourage independence through exercise support and health‑awareness programmes.
• Maintain accurate electronic daily logs and adhere to safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Full induction and care certificate provided; funding available for QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care diploma.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of the local area and professional presentation.
• Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and adapt to varied client needs.
