Care Assistant

About the role
Join Hallhouse Care Home in Fenwick, East Ayrshire, as a Care Assistant and make a meaningful difference to residents each day. You will provide person‑centred support that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing in a warm, welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
- Follow individual care plans and promptly report any changes in condition.
- Maintain a safe, responsive and consistent care environment.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to create a positive atmosphere.
Required profile
- A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, positive outlook and willingness to learn.
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential; SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
Required skills
What we offer
- £13.60 per hour.
- Full‑time and part‑time contracts.
- Paid PVG, pension scheme and uniform.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (full‑time basis).
- Comprehensive training, guidance and ongoing development.
