Care Assistant – Night Shift

About the role

Join Avery Healthcare Group at Camberley Woods Care Home as a Night Care Assistant. You will work the 8 pm‑8 am shift, providing compassionate personal care and support to elderly residents in a supportive, award‑winning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents during the night shift (8 pm‑8 am).
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Monitor clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and signs of infection and report promptly.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow care home policies.
• Provide courteous support to residents and their visitors.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, warm and dedicated attitude towards caring for elderly residents.
• Ability to work night shifts on a full‑time basis.
• Commitment to uphold dignity, respect and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of personal care procedures.
• Awareness of clinical risk indicators (e.g., pressure sores, falls).
