Care Assistant – Night Shifts

About the role
Join Sanctuary Care as a Night Care Assistant at our Guy's Court home in Fleetwood. You will work 12‑hour night shifts (8 pm‑8 am) on a rotating weekend pattern, providing compassionate support to older residents.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in line with each resident’s care plan.
- Assist with personal hygiene, medication prompts and mobility.
- Encourage participation in leisure and social activities during night hours.
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment throughout the night.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues, residents and families about any concerns.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic attitude and genuine care for older people.
- Ability to work as part of a supportive team.
- Willingness to work night shifts and alternate weekends.
- Good communication skills and adaptability to varied situations.
Required skills
- Clear verbal communication.
- Basic numeracy for medication assistance.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £13.27.
- 33 hours per week on a permanent full‑time basis.
- 28 days of annual leave (pro‑rated) including public holidays.
