Care Assistant – North Newcastle (Shift Pay)

About the role

We are recruiting Care Assistants to provide care and support to people living in North Newcastle areas (NE3, NE2, NE7, NE13). No degree or care qualifications are required – the right values and a can‑do attitude are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care that protects people's dignity.
• Promote independence using enabling approaches.
• Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
• Connect people to their communities, accessing local support and services.
• Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.
• Communicate effectively, documenting and sharing information with the right people at the right time.

Required profile

• Patience and empathy when supporting individuals.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Can‑do attitude and willingness to work varied shifts.

What we offer

• Pay: £13.30 per hour for drivers, £12.75 per hour for walkers, plus mileage reimbursement.
