Care Assistant (Part-time)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to provide personal care and support to residents, helping to maintain and improve their quality of life while recognising signs of distress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physical personal care to residents in line with their support plans.
• Carry out individual tasks to support residents’ daily living needs.
• Identify and respond to signs of distress, promoting resident wellbeing.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop strategies that reduce distress and empower residents.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and undertake lone working when required.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑focused residential setting providing personal care.
• Knowledge of housing, health and safety legislation and national care standards.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and ability to work independently.
