Care Assistant – Part‑time (Fareham)

About the role

Join the Cordelia care home team in Fareham as a Care Assistant. No prior experience is required – we provide full training so you can deliver compassionate, person‑centred care to our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Assist with medication administration and accurate record‑keeping.
• Build meaningful relationships and offer companionship.
• Facilitate activities, hobbies and social engagement to enrich residents’ lives.
• Promote dignity, independence and overall well‑being.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to maintain a safe, caring environment.

Required profile

• Kindness, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Availability to work alternate weekends and either night or day shifts.
• Patient, reliable and able to follow training and procedures.

Required skills

• Compassionate and patient attitude.
• Basic numeracy for medication recording.
