About the role
HC-One is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join its Preston care home. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents, providing personal care and helping with daily activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals.
- Assist residents with daily activities and mobility support.
- Offer comfort to distressed residents and compassionate end‑of‑life care.
- Recognise and report safeguarding concerns, attending required training.
- Follow the direction of the Registered Nurse and care home policies.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, caring and reliable attitude.
- Ability to work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and willingness to attend training.
- Commitment to treating each resident with dignity and respect.
