Care Assistant – Residential Care Home

About the role

Join Agincare at Trafalgar Care Home in Weymouth to provide compassionate, person‑centred care for residents. You will help individuals maintain dignity, independence and enjoyment in daily life, whether on day or night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents.
• Administer and accurately record medication.
• Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing and feeding.
• Support social and recreational activities to promote engagement.
• Uphold residents' dignity, independence and overall well‑being.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Kind, compassionate and good with people.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Previous care experience preferred but not essential; full training provided.
• Willingness to work 42 hours per week on day or night shifts, including alternative weekends.
• Female applicants only for the night role where personal care to women is a genuine occupational requirement.
