Care Assistant – Residential, Dementia & Nursing Care

About the role

Join our private care facility in Hampshire as a Care Assistant, supporting up to 66 residents across residential, dementia, nursing and respite services. You will work night shifts, delivering person‑centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care, mobility assistance and nutrition support.
• Follow individual care plans and monitor changes in residents' conditions.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent, high‑quality care.
• Document observations and communicate any concerns to senior staff.

Required profile

• A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive outlook and willingness to learn.
• NVQ Level 2 (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of personal care and hygiene practices.
• Ability to follow care plans and recognise changes in health status.
