Care Assistant – Specialist Dementia, Mental Health & General Nursing

About the role

As a Care Assistant at Manor House Care Home you will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support to residents across our General Nursing, Complex Dementia and Mental Health units. You will help promote dignity, wellbeing and independence while working in a structured, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and daily routines.
• Encourage meaningful engagement and social interaction.
• Follow individual care plans and report observations to nurses.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe and stable environment.
• Support residents with complex physical, cognitive and mental health needs.

Required skills

What we offer

• £12.71 per hour.
• Full‑time and part‑time contracts.
• Day and night 12‑hour shifts (8 am‑8 pm or 8 pm‑8 am).
• 1 hour break (30 min paid).
