Care Assistant – Specialist School (Lingfield)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join a specialist school provision in Lingfield, supporting children and young people aged 4‑19 with autism, physical disabilities and complex needs. The role offers a rewarding opportunity to help students develop independence, confidence and essential life skills in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support throughout the school day.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting when required.
• Support students’ learning, communication and social development.
• Encourage independence and positive engagement in daily activities.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
