Care Home Activities Lead

About the role

Excelcare Holdings is seeking a Care Home Activities Lead for its Willows Care Home in Milton Keynes. You will design and deliver a varied activity programme that enhances the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents.

Key responsibilities

• Create and organise daily and weekly activities tailored to individual and group needs.
• Collaborate with staff, families and external partners such as community groups, schools and churches.
• Plan outings and community engagements, ensuring safety and relevance.
• Monitor participation and adjust programmes to achieve desired resident outcomes.
• Maintain records of activity plans and resident feedback.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role or caring environment is desirable.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong communication skills.
• Genuine desire to improve the lives of older people.

• Hourly rate £13.45‑£14.15 (35 hours/week, 8 am‑4 pm, occasional weekends).
