Care Home Manager – Learning Disabilities

About the role

The Care Home Manager will lead a residential service for adults with learning and physical disabilities, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care. You will be responsible for maintaining standards, supporting staff, and creating an environment where residents can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the care team to deliver consistent, high‑quality person‑centred support.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve systems and processes within the home.
• Audit care documentation to ensure it reflects each resident’s individual needs.
• Manage safeguarding issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and uphold its standards.

Required profile

• Experience as a Deputy Manager, Care Manager or Service Manager in a learning‑disabilities setting (registered manager experience desirable but not essential).
• Passion for delivering person‑centred services to people with learning and physical disabilities.
• QCF Level 5 qualification in Leadership of Social Care or progress towards it.
• Good knowledge of CQC standards and relevant social‑care legislation.
