Care Home Worker – Scottish Islands (Full‑time/Contract)

About the role

Join a dedicated care team in some of Scotland’s most beautiful island communities. As a Care Home Worker you will provide essential personal care and support to vulnerable residents, helping them live safely and comfortably.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, including assistance with daily living activities.
• Perform moving and handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Administer medication in accordance with care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required administrative duties.

Required profile

• At least 12 months experience as a Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant in the UK.
• Commitment to a placement of a minimum of three months.
• Own a car and hold a valid driving licence for island travel.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, often exceeding 60 hours per week.
