Care Manager – Nursing Home

About the role

Excelcare Holdings is seeking an experienced, nurse‑qualified Care Manager to join The Willows Care Home in Great Linford, Milton Keynes. You will work closely with the Home Manager and a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of clinical care for up to 65 nursing beds.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership on all clinical matters and drive continuous improvement of care quality.
• Coordinate, coach and support nursing and care staff to deliver effective services.
• Monitor, record and analyse clinical outcomes against CQC standards.
• Share on‑call management duties during evenings and weekends alongside the Home Manager.
• Oversee the day‑to‑day operation of nursing beds and ensure resident wellbeing.

Required profile

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active PIN.
• Proven experience in a nursing or care‑home setting for older adults.
• Extensive clinical knowledge and familiarity with CQC regulations.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Ability to build, lead and retain high‑performing teams.
