Care Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Care Supervisor to join our award‑winning team at Elton House Care Home in Watford. In this full‑time position you will lead a small team of care staff, ensuring that every resident receives person‑centred support while upholding the highest standards of safety, dignity and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, support and guide a small care team, ensuring compliance with Avery Healthcare processes and procedures.
• Promote and deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to all residents.
• Monitor and record residents’ daily progress, observations and interventions.
• Address and resolve concerns or complaints raised by residents or their relatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Warm, enthusiastic and dedicated attitude towards elderly care.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• Strong commitment to resident choice, dignity, independence and personal safety.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; focus is on leadership and care quality.
