Caretaker – 40 hrs/week – London

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused Caretaker to join our Estate Services team in North London. You will be responsible for maintaining communal areas to high standards of cleanliness and safety across properties in Hackney and Newham.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and clean communal areas, including corridors, stairwells and bin zones.
• Sweep, mop, and pick up litter to ensure a tidy environment.
• Carry out routine health and safety checks and report any hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness of bin storage areas and ensure proper waste management.
• Collaborate with the wider facilities team to support estate upkeep.

Required profile

• Customer‑oriented attitude with a strong eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow health and safety procedures.
• Reliable transportation to travel across the assigned region.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
