About the role
We are seeking a reliable caretaker to support the day‑to‑day upkeep of a site in Stevenage. Working Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑17:00, you will join a temporary contract team delivering essential maintenance and support services.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out general repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
- Perform porterage duties, including cleaning, litter picking and waste management.
- Move and arrange furniture and equipment as required.
- Assist with basic building upkeep and ensure the site remains safe and presentable.
Required profile
- Ability to work independently and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.
- Good physical stamina for manual handling and outdoor work.
- Reliability and punctuality for a full‑time schedule.
