About the role

Join Raven Housing Trust’s Repairs team to deliver high‑quality carpentry repairs across residential properties in the South East. Working from a home base within the operating area, you will help improve residents’ homes through skilled, reliable workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out a range of carpentry tasks, including installation, repair and replacement of doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens and general woodwork.
• Perform external works such as fencing where required.
• Diagnose faults, choose effective solutions and complete repairs efficiently, aiming for a right‑first‑time outcome.
• Communicate clearly with residents, keeping them informed throughout each job.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow risk assessments and manufacturer guidance.

Required profile

• Recognised carpentry qualification (C&G Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience carrying out carpentry repairs in a customer‑focused environment.
• Ability to assess repairs and identify the most effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills to explain work and keep residents updated.
• Experience using mobile technology to receive and update work records.
