Carpenter Multi – Social Housing Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Multi to join a leading repairs and maintenance contractor supporting social housing across South East London. You will deliver high‑quality property maintenance, ensuring resident safety and satisfaction while complying with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine property maintenance and reactive repairs across multiple sites each day.
• Perform carpentry tasks as the primary trade, including repairs, installations and alterations.
• Complete basic plumbing, patch plastering and tiling work where required.
• Use a PDA and job‑scheduling software to record work and manage assignments.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and relevant building regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi within social housing or a similar environment.
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (desired) and knowledge of NHF SORS (desirable).
• Full, clean UK driving licence with a minimum of three points.
• Relevant trade qualifications in plumbing, CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness certification (desirable).
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check with no unspent convictions.
