Carpenter – Residential Repairs

About the role

Join Reed's Repairs team as a Carpenter, delivering high‑quality carpentry repairs across residential properties in South East England. You will work on a variety of tasks, ensuring each job meets the highest standards and leaves a positive impression on residents.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and replace doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens and general woodwork.
• Carry out external works such as fencing and maintain property fittings.
• Diagnose faults, plan solutions and complete repairs efficiently, aiming for first‑time right.
• Communicate clearly with residents, keeping them informed throughout each job.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including COSHH and manual handling guidelines.

Required profile

• Recognised carpentry qualification (C&G Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in carpentry repairs within a customer‑focused environment.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and support wider teams.

• Use of mobile technology for work orders.
