Caseworker Team Leader – Multi‑Crime Service

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, organised and detail‑focused Caseworker Team Leader to head the multi‑crime service that supports adults affected by crime and anti‑social behaviour across Avon & Somerset. The role combines people management, case oversight and partnership development to ensure high‑quality, outcome‑based support for victims.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of caseworkers, providing line management, coaching and performance monitoring.
• Allocate daily casework, conduct audits of the case management system and produce regular reports.
• Capture and analyse data to demonstrate outcomes and compliance with contractual standards.
• Ensure safeguarding, quality assurance and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Strengthen partnerships with external agencies and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
• Support team members in completing comprehensive impact assessments for complex cases.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of the Criminal Justice System and the impact of crime on victims and witnesses.
• Knowledge of equal‑opportunity, diversity, safeguarding and risk‑assessment legislation.
• Experience working in a challenging, changing environment and providing crisis management support.
• Proven track record of leading and managing a team to meet contractual and quality targets.

• Permanent contract with a salary of £30,825 per year.
