Casual Receptionist – Front of House

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, approachable Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors at our leisure centre in Matlock. You will welcome guests, handle enquiries and support the smooth operation of the front‑of‑house team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all visitors with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Handle enquiries, bookings and membership queries face‑to‑face, by phone and online.
• Operate till, cash and card payment systems accurately.
• Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Support the delivery of centre events and activities.
• Follow Freedom Leisure policies on safeguarding, health & safety and customer care.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Comfortable using till systems and handling cash/card payments.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment.
• Proactive, flexible and reliable team player.
