Casual Sports Coach – Hull & North Lincolnshire

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Sports Coaches to join us on a casual, flexible‑hours basis, delivering engaging PE and sports sessions in primary schools across Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. You will work with the same groups of children each term, helping them progress and develop their skills while enjoying competitive rates of pay.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality PE lessons and a variety of sports to primary‑aged pupils.
• Build positive relationships and maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Complete lesson administration and pupil assessments.
• Develop and adapt schemes of work to meet pupil needs.
• Represent First Step Sports professionally at all times.
• Travel to various schools and venues across the region.

Required profile

• A Level 2 Coaching qualification (or equivalent) – mandatory.
• Minimum one year’s experience teaching or coaching young people.
• GCSEs in Maths and English.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
• First Aid and Child Protection training (desirable, training available).
