Category Coordinator – Supply Chain & Inventory Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Category Coordinator to manage selected product categories, ensuring smooth flow from supplier to customer. You will work closely with internal teams, freight providers and warehouse partners to keep inventory levels optimal and deliveries on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory, purchasing activities and supplier relationships for assigned categories.
• Monitor stock levels, customer demand and consumption trends to guarantee continuity of supply.
• Coordinate customer orders from purchase order through to final delivery.
• Prepare and process shipping, export and inventory documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and warehouses to ensure timely deliveries.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve supply‑chain issues.
• Produce and analyse inventory, consumption and operational reports.
• Maintain accurate ERP records and support stock reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability combined with excellent communication skills.
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confident communicator capable of building relationships at all levels.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience using ERP systems.
