About the role

Join Busy Bees as a Level 2 Catering Apprentice and start a rewarding career in a busy nursery kitchen. You will work alongside experienced catering professionals, learning to prepare nutritious meals for children in a supportive, hands‑on environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing freshly made, balanced meals for nursery children.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety throughout the kitchen.
• Support stock rotation, inventory checks and safe storage practices.
• Follow kitchen hygiene protocols and assist with cleaning duties.
• Collaborate with the Development Coach and senior chefs to improve cooking techniques.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about starting a career in catering or food service.
• Willing to learn and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality meals for children.
