Catering Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Catering Assistant to support a busy workplace in Witney, Oxfordshire. The role runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, offering evenings and weekends free and a 12‑week temp‑to‑perm opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Replenish vending machines across two buildings.
• Clean and maintain coffee machines to a high standard.
• Monitor stock levels and perform stock control.
• Receive, store and rotate deliveries.
• Keep vending and refreshment areas clean, tidy and fully stocked.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
• Carry out regular manual handling, including heavy lifting.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Good physical fitness for regular heavy lifting.
• Ability to work independently across multiple buildings.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive, reliable attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality or a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.

Required skills

What we offer

• £15.07 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.
