CAW Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW) is seeking a CAW Operations Coordinator to support its Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW) network. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers a hybrid working model, with three days remote and occasional visits to the London office.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate specialist meetings and international task forces, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as the primary liaison for CAW Specialist Meetings and CAW Network USA, managing communications and progress reporting.
• Support research and insight projects by collecting, verifying, and sharing information.
• Organise travel, meetings and events for the CAW team and international partners.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to distribute specialist group content across CAW channels.
• Assist the Director with day‑to‑day operations, including GDPR compliance, legal matters and finance administration.

Required profile

• Previous experience in project coordination, operations or stakeholder management.
• Background in professional services, membership organisations or B2B environments.
• Experience supporting research or insight projects (desirable).
• Good standard of education.

Required skills

• Strong project coordination and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including agenda and minute preparation.
• Effective stakeholder management with senior UK and international contacts.
• Proactive problem‑solving with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
