CCTV Engineer – North East England

About the role

We are seeking a motivated CCTV Engineer to join our client’s security team in the North East of England. The role is field‑based, covering the North East and surrounding areas, and involves installing and maintaining modern electronic security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install IP CCTV systems, access control and wireless alarm systems for a variety of clients.
• Service, uninstall and maintain installed equipment as required.
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship on‑site and adhere to industry regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal administration.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers and provide training to junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the electronic security sector, preferably in installation or service.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV technologies and experience with multiple alarm brands.
• Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Salary £34,000‑£40,000 per annum plus overtime.
