CCTV Operator (Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, professional CCTV Operator to join our permanent night‑shift monitoring team in Mole Valley, Surrey. The role involves working independently in a secure environment, monitoring CCTV and security systems throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems and associated security technology.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations.
• Liaise with emergency services, clients and third parties when required.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and operational records.
• Follow established operational procedures and security protocols.
• Provide clear and accurate incident reporting and escalation.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Required profile

• Current and valid SIA CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Good IT and computer literacy.
• Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Confidence working independently in a lone‑working environment.
• Professional, reliable and trustworthy approach.
