Centre Executive – Operations & Sales

About the role

This position is the operational heartbeat of a busy flexible‑workspace centre. Based primarily in Reading, you will combine front‑line customer interaction with commercial ownership to drive revenue and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Run day‑to‑day centre operations from opening to close, maintaining high standards.
• Conduct tours and manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to signed agreement.
• Generate revenue beyond fixed office lettings, including co‑working, meeting rooms, and events space.
• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Centre Operations Assistants.
• Track sales performance and KPIs, reporting to the Commercial Sales Executive and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Partner with marketing on local campaigns to increase centre visibility and demand.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑facing supervisory or management role, preferably in hospitality, flexible workspace, facilities, or a similar environment.
• Strong commercial instinct with a track record of contributing to revenue targets.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence leading a team and dealing with customers at all levels.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to juggle operational and commercial priorities simultaneously.
