Certified Counterbalance Forklift Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Certified Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join our Brighton warehouse team. You will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading goods safely while supporting overall warehouse efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles, racking and storage areas.
• Transport products to the correct warehouse locations.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults.
• Handle stock carefully to avoid damage.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Follow all health & safety policies and complete required paperwork.

Required profile

• Valid, in‑date Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
• Physical fitness and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, reliability and flexibility with shift patterns.

Required skills

• Counterbalance forklift operation.
• Reach truck operation (desirable).
• Powered pallet truck (PPT) operation (desirable).
• Low‑level order picker (LLOP) operation (desirable).
• Basic use of warehouse management systems.
