Change and Adoption Manager - Finance Transformation
Energy Saving Trust
Job description
About the role
The Energy Saving Trust is looking for a Change and Adoption Manager to lead the people side of its finance transformation programme. You will help colleagues understand, prepare for and adopt new systems, processes and ways of working, combining an understanding of finance with clear communication, stakeholder engagement and practical learning support. The role sits in the Digital Delivery team, reporting to the Digital Delivery Lead and working with colleagues across Finance, Digital, Technology and HR.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and deliver the change approach: assess impacts and readiness, identify barriers and develop practical plans aligned with programme milestones and business outcomes.
- Build engagement across the organisation: work with senior leaders, Finance teams and wider stakeholders, build a network of change champions and use workshops and feedback to support delivery.
- Make complex change understandable: create clear, timely communications tailored to different audiences.
- Support learning and adoption: coordinate training, user guides and support resources with subject matter experts and the managed service provider.
- Measure progress and sustain change: use adoption data and feedback to identify further support, inform improvements and help the programme achieve its intended benefits.
Required profile
- Experience leading change in large-scale transformation programmes, using recognised change management approaches.
- Experience supporting finance transformation and working closely with Finance teams, such as finance systems implementation, process improvement, shared services or operating model change.
- Evidence of successful organisational change and technology adoption, with an analytical approach to progress and where further support is needed.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including working with senior leaders.
- Experience developing communications, training and engagement approaches.
Applications are submitted online with an anonymised CV and cover letter; applications without a cover letter may be rejected. Visa sponsorship is not provided, so UK work eligibility is required. The role is fixed term for 12 months, full time (37.5 hours a week), with a flexible UK location and a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience.
What we offer
- Flexible working: most roles can be done remotely, with offices in London, Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff and Hadleigh.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and extra Christmas leave.
- Pension and life assurance, enhanced family leave and yearly wellbeing allowance.
- Green travel perks (EV scheme, cycle to work) and professional development support.
