Change Manager – Driving Organizational Transformation

About the role

The Change Manager will be key in building and growing the influence of the Change Centre of Excellence within Springer Nature Technology. The role develops and implements change management plans and strategies to help teams adapt to new processes and technologies, while contributing to standard practice and raising change maturity across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CoE Director and team members to identify, assess and manage change impacts on people, processes and technology.
• Utilise change management methodologies to create and execute effective change plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Plan, create and deliver support materials and training that help people navigate change confidently.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement through communication strategies, training sessions and workshops.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to integrate change initiatives into daily operations.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives, providing feedback and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align change initiatives with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain change management documentation and support an adaptable, people‑centred culture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing change, preferably in the tech or publishing sectors.
• Proven track record of leading change initiatives in large, complex organisations.
• Practical application of change management methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, training sessions and presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to assess change impact, develop mitigation and communication plans, and report on effectiveness.
