Change Manager

About the role

FDM Group, a global business and technology consultancy, is seeking an Adoption Lead / Change Manager for a public‑sector client. This is an eight‑month contract, primarily remote with occasional travel to London or Manchester, requiring active SC security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive change management and user adoption strategies aligned to programme objectives.
• Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to identify risks, dependencies, and engagement requirements.
• Create and maintain change management plans, communications plans, training strategies, and adoption roadmaps.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business leaders, project teams, and end users.
• Lead stakeholder engagement activities, workshops, focus groups, and feedback sessions.
• Design and deliver communication campaigns to support awareness, understanding, and adoption of change initiatives.
• Develop and oversee training and enablement programmes to ensure users are equipped to adopt new processes and technologies.
• Monitor adoption metrics, user feedback, and business readiness indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage resistance to change and implement mitigation strategies to address adoption challenges.
• Support project governance by providing regular updates on change readiness, adoption progress, and associated risks.
• Collaborate with programme managers, business analysts, technical teams, and delivery partners to ensure a seamless change experience.
• Ensure all activities align with organisational standards, governance frameworks, and security requirements.

Required profile

• Active SC (Security Clearance) is essential.
• Proven experience as a Change Manager or Adoption Lead delivering change in complex organisational environments.
• Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to the UK.
