Chartered Accountant – Business Services Provider

About the role

This position offers a Chartered Accountant the chance to work within a thriving business services provider in Eastbourne. You will deliver high‑quality accounting and finance services to a varied client base while supporting their strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in line with statutory requirements.
• Manage tax planning and compliance for both individual and corporate clients.
• Provide expert financial and business advice to aid client decision‑making.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and systems.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless client services.
• Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and tax legislation.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Previous experience in the accounting and finance sector.
• Effective communication skills for client and colleague interaction.
