Chartered Building Surveyor

About the role

We are recruiting a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our client‑focused team in Sheffield, working on a variety of built‑asset projects. The role involves delivering core surveying services from feasibility through to post‑handover, while supporting our commitment to value for money and high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and report to partners, ensuring delivery of value for money.
• Prepare and deliver key stage reports, feasibility studies, and post‑handover documentation.
• Administer building contracts, including design, health & safety, and commercial processes.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams on live operational sites from brief to final occupation.
• Conduct asset management surveys and planned maintenance inspections.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related technical discipline; MRICS or similar professional membership preferred.
• Proven technical delivery experience with strong project management from inception to completion.
• Excellent specification writing and good knowledge of JCT Contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, multiple stakeholders and deliver to deadlines.
