About the role

This senior Chartered Paraplanner position supports a thriving independent financial adviser (IFA) practice in London. The role blends client‑focused financial analysis with team leadership, offering a pathway to further career progression within the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for adviser queries and delegate work requests within the team.
• Monitor team workloads, arrange training, and authorise holiday requests following internal processes.
• Update suitability reports to reflect current legislation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assess client objectives, conduct research, and draft recommendation reports for adviser review.
• Prepare meeting paperwork, compile financial analysis, and liaise with product providers and third‑party contacts.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, FCA regulations, and product research tools.
• Participate in provider webinars for ongoing CPD and technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Chartered qualification with proven paraplanning experience.
• Strong understanding of FCA regulations and financial services compliance.
• Ability to manage and support a team, including workload monitoring and training.
• Proactive communication style and excellent client‑relationship skills.
