Chartered Surveyor – Claims and Loss Adjusting (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join our claims and loss adjusting business. Working remotely, you will manage a mixed portfolio of perils‑related losses, providing expert assessments and reports for insurance claims.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, inspections and investigations of domestic and commercial property damage.
• Assess the extent of loss from perils such as water escape, fire, impact and storm.
• Estimate repair costs and produce accurate, detailed reports for claim settlement.
• Interpret insurance policies and coverage to ensure correct claim handling.
• Travel to claim sites as required to perform on‑site assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Surveyor, preferably within claims management or the insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of property surveying techniques, building materials and construction practices.
• Professional chartered status (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB) and a valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
