Chartered Surveyor – Fund Monitoring (Building/Quantity)

About the role

A leading construction consultancy is expanding its fund monitoring team and seeks a Chartered Building or Quantity Surveyor to transition into development monitoring. You will work on behalf of major banks and lenders, assessing risks across residential, hotel and commercial schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare initial development monitoring reports for lender clients.
• Review and assess project documentation, costs and associated risks.
• Monitor construction progress and approve drawdown requests.
• Identify and report development risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with lenders, developers and professional teams.

Required profile

• MRICS‑qualified Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor.
• Experience in a consultancy environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction processes.
• Excellent report writing and client communication skills.
• Keen interest in moving into fund/development monitoring.
