Chartered Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join our claims and loss adjusting business. Working from a home base, you will manage a mixed portfolio of property loss investigations, supporting fair and accurate insurance settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, inspections and investigations of domestic and commercial property damage.
• Assess the extent of loss, estimate repair costs and produce detailed reports for insurance claims.
• Interpret insurance policies, coverage terms and claims handling procedures.
• Travel to claim sites as required to carry out on‑site assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Surveyor, preferably within claims management, loss adjusting or the insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of property surveying techniques, building materials and construction practices.
• Professional certification such as MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various locations.

What we offer

• Salary up to £75,000 per year, dependent on experience.
