Chartered Surveyor / Registered Valuer (MRICS/FRICS)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor / Registered Valuer (MRICS or FRICS) to join a respected independent surveying practice in Banstead. The role involves delivering residential mortgage valuations and home surveys for leading mainstream lenders across Surrey, Kent and South London.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out residential mortgage valuations for a panel of mainstream lenders.
• Undertake home surveys and other residential inspection reports.
• Produce accurate, professional and compliant valuation reports.
• Manage your own diary and workload efficiently.
• Deliver a high standard of service to clients, lenders and stakeholders.
• Maintain professional standards and compliance with RICS regulations.

Required profile

• MRICS or FRICS qualified Chartered Surveyor – registration is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience (PVE) in residential mortgage valuations.
• Strong knowledge of the residential property market in Surrey, Kent and South London.
• Excellent written communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Well‑organised with the capacity to manage a busy workload independently.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
