Chef de Partie – Bagshot Care Home

About the role

Join the culinary team at Bagshot Gardens Care Home, providing high‑quality, nutritionally balanced meals for residents in a supportive healthcare environment. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure excellent food service that enhances residents' wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and delivering nutritious meals and beverages.
• Participate in meetings with residents and department heads to address dietary requirements and catering functions.
• Maintain cost‑effective stock control and minimise waste.
• Help develop, review and update menus regularly.

Required profile

• Hold a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2, NVQ or equivalent.
• Possess a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year catering experience.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high‑quality culinary service.
• Flexible and able to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Required skills

• Food hygiene knowledge (Basic Food Hygiene Certificate).
• Catering qualification.
