About the role
We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join Village Hotels’ vibrant food & beverage team. In this hands‑on position you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring high‑quality, brand‑standard dishes are delivered across our hotel outlets.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to the required standards during service and prep periods.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef, stepping in to lead the kitchen in their absence.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow chefs to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of dishes.
- Contribute to the achievement of broader hotel goals through efficient kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Passion for culinary arts and a desire to progress up the kitchen ladder.
- Willingness to undertake on‑the‑job training and pursue NVQ qualifications.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work in a close‑knit environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
Required skills
- Food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
