Chef de Partie

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join our professional kitchen team in Cambridge. You will work across all sections, ensuring high‑quality food is produced consistently while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes with consistent quality and portion control.
• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of your assigned kitchen section, including stock ordering and control.
• Maintain food hygiene, HACCP and health‑and‑safety standards, complying with allergen legislation.
• Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements to products and services.
• Supervise, support and train junior chefs, fostering a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (Level 3 advantageous).
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Confidence working across all kitchen sections and a passion for high‑quality food.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
